When In Love
When In Love
When in love,
we become words,
needing each other gravely,
to find a meaning,
formulate a sentence.
We jumble ourselves up,
and assign new meanings
to the newfound words.
Unwinding the alphabets in us,
we make more new words,
and with them,
make a word world of ourselves.
We mould its geography,
invents its history,
drafts its constitution.
Since we fail to demarcate the boundary,
every time we are lost in the wild.
Often we fail to recognise,
the 'you' and 'I'
when we are deranged.
We become blind and deaf,
but our deft fingers,
cleverly decipher
the braille script of our body,
in any pitch black night!
