 petrichor   rainbow   blush 

Wafting petrichor drew me to the stained window,

Gentle raindrops danced on the roofs high and low!


Why do I see the drenched trees beaming and blushing,

Is it similar to a newlywed bride's inner glow?


Why do I see the soaked tadpoles struggling in the puddles,

Is it nature's way of teaching them to grow??


When did I grow up, why can't the time just freeze,

To that era when I was not chained by any worry or woe?


If the skies are dark Anjali, don't fear, discover your own sunshine,

Look how I glitter just after a heavy downpour, says the smiling rainbow!
