We Hear, We See, But Are Silent And Deaf
We Hear, We See, But Are Silent And Deaf
A hundred eyes saw happened but became blind to what they saw,
The sound of the crash was heard by a hundred ears,
That is our humanity, our flaw,
for they did not want to be a witness, they had their fears,
The victim lay there asking for help again and again,
The drunk driver fled from the spot never
To be seen,
The victim's pain-filled cries went waste, went in vain,
While some onlookers started shooting the ghastly scene,
What has come over all of us when,
What we do is all, about just seeing.
Watching the man fall under the bus.
But standing there doing nothing, yet call ourselves human being.
That you can be there in the same place tomorrow,
How will you feel ? when no one is about to help you, its true,
Then you will feel the sorrow.
Of no one coming to help you.
