Water

We just can't do without water,

Be it any son or daughter!

Let's learn to use it wisely,

Even if it means doing so miserly!

Repair all the leaking taps,

It's more important than taking mid-day naps,

To bathe avoid using the shower,

Use a bucket that can save precious water power!

Let's not wash our cars everyday,

Wiping it with a damp cloth is an equally good way,

If you are reusing water you used to wash your rice and grain,

You are making excellent use of your brain!

Just take half a glass if you don't want to drink a full one,

Doing these little things can actually save a ton,

Keep in mind that to fetch some of it, people walk miles,

Wasting it would be depriving them of their smiles!

The place is here and the time is now,

And all of us know how,

We all are capable of a miracle,

If only we reduce, reuse, recycle
