Waking To The Reality

She is a tall figure with a tall personality,

She is all grace and deserves full praise,

She is always in a haste while maintaining her chaste,

When she wears a "Sari", her personality is enhanced,

When she says "Sorry", her personality is multiplied.

All said and dusted, who is she by the way ?

Honestly, she is just a figment of my wild imagination!

If imaginations were horses, beggars would ride on them,

If imaginations were real, I would be the next PM of India!

Let us face the stark & harsh reality of modern times,

Today's woman neither wears a sari nor says sorry,

She is here to showcase her skills and talents,

And not to showcase her looks and elegant personality.

She is here to compete with the world of men,

She is here to compete with the world of cruelty,

After all, handsome is what handsome does,

Which is not at all a "sorry" state of affairs!
