Universe Behind Me

There was a moment

when I couldn’t feel anything else,

but an unknown feeling in his eyes

that entered my soul

like my body didn’t exist,

and then I felt him in me.

I felt my gaps getting filled in,

I felt my wounds healing,

I felt my strength reviving,

I felt complete,

like the universe was nothing 

but a mere shadow

that existed behind me,

and all I could feel was him.
