Unhappy Easter
Unhappy Easter
Once a Man rose high on the ground
Showing us miracles what is no man found.
Teaching us to love so to share
Bore the pain what we should bear.
All we did is no one should hear
Spited on him in hate and fear.
Yet it didn't please our veins
Until his flesh and body are slain.
But that can't stop the heart of love
He had risen from the dead above.
The People knelt with awe and wonders
He Walked in light and crown so splendor.
So the Easter comes the day every year,
To resurrect hope and life in cheers.
But I feel sorry for the price he paid
It's his love which we betrayed.
He told us to comfort a Sufferings soul
Now mocking is our only goal.
Once we prayed for the sick and dead
Now we pray to curse the meek and mild.
He asked to serve one God indeed
But we made ourselves Gods of greed.
He lived to make us all a bunch of lovers
Now all we love is just pieces of papers.
He sacrificed his life for the poor
But I find no hope with us anymore.
All his pain is ended up in vain
But I wish you Happy Easter again.
