Twilight Meanderings

Twilight Meanderings

When the world is asleep

And the sun is yet to rise

My heart takes a mighty leap

A “Walking Exercise”, being its guise

When the morning is close

And the night is yet to retire

That is when the raven crows

The “Cloak of Semi-Darkness”, its attire

When the myna is twittering

And the pigeon is yet to soar

There you will find me skittering

On the “Cobblestone Path”, searching for more

More of the solitude,

And less of the clamoring

More of the tranquil,

And less of the trying

As such I conclude

My Twilight Meanderings
