Flow with me folks, recall, remember

This journey we've been through.

Back when it was the dreamy spring,

Green valleys, surreal willows and blossoming flowers.

The breeze flows filling our

hearts with the confidence of peace.

An unmistakable faith that

Tomorrow is better than today was deeply established.

A haven to confide in, we watch our smooth, soft hands

And we smile.

Nothing could ever go wrong,

We always knew and knew even more.

Everything was ardently faced,

Happiness surrounded us everyday.

Our sight falls on that one flower that drooped that day.

No thought, no pondering on why,

But everything is unchangeable we thought.

Little did we know, that one flower which drooped,

Was the beginning of a massive plague.

The wave of this plague hit through,

All the wonderful corners havens, meadows

And crept on towards our mind.

What seemed unchangeable laughed and mocked all of us.

We stood there in the desert, our feet deep-rooted

In the burning sand with shards of sharp stones.

The feet that once stood on endless embracing kind grass.

Our eyes-gaze the horizon with the foolish hope on an oasis.

Nonplussed we wonder and hope,

We find it at a non-existent distance.

As time walks away,

Situations flow downhill.

And our boulders of undying hope begin to molder.

For the innocent twinkle of our once joyed eyes,

Filled with enviable pleasure turned and phased

Into a cruel shine of heated tears and anger.

For now, we knew we were the interns to the state shock.

As days walk past us with no pity and empathy.

Look at what we became.

For everyone on our ascension,

We descended tenfold.

For gradually, we became the vessels,

Where hate and criticism were disposed.

Weren't we thrown, pushed, beaten, stabbed,

Betrayed, torn and burnt?

The spark of faith and hope rekindled,

And was certainly put to rest.

We searched for love and comfort,

In shallow, empty eyes, empty vessels, empty hearts

And when we needed to be sheltered we faced closed doors.

Myriads and waves of torture added when

Every new morn was born.

We stretched our hands only to find emptiness hold it.

Our breath became shallow, ragged and uneven.

For once the head which was held high,

To watch and feel the sunrise,

Found solace and comfort

resting in palms of our tired hands.

The once soft hands turned to rocks,

For the heart-rending battles, we fought with them.

Our swords stained with losses and victories.

Our tomorrow was to be ready for battle.

For in those harsh cold nights,

We stood alone but with an unlit candle,

With the hope to be lighted.

We felt a thousand tears salt our cheeks for a thousand years.

But how long this be unfathomable for us.

We waited to heal after every fall

Only to discover that now we strong enough to

Fight without healing.

We were made into ashes, then thrown to flames,

But we chose to become glorious diamonds from it.

For when we were termed as the criminals of life,

We looked back with an equally threatening gaze,

With our arched angry eyebrows.

For every smile of ours was threatened by showers of tears,

We thundered in screams and fought with valor.

We began to question the pain that tested its own limits on us,

And if it could break it, why couldn't we break ours.

We rose, our heads emerged from that pool of tears,

It was indeed held high, again, to taunt the cruel burning Sun.

Our swords raised high, and our readiness to fight tomorrow,

Just to make it through.

For when the realization struck us, we now knew that,

We were the ones who cried in the breeze,

But now, we are the same ones who tame the winds,

And we are the same who chase the storms.

We rose like the mighty tide

And traveled across distant oceans.

We are the potters of tomorrow,

We are the artists of our destiny,

We are the makers, builders of our future.

We are the raging fire of the volcanoes.

For we shaped today, brick by brick, tear by tears.

We stand emotionless, ready for herds of challenge.

How could anyone stop us,

For they could see our wings itch to spread out and fly.

And now we bathe in triumph,

Standing on our established peaks.

I salute you, brave folks,

For our dauntless, indomitable feats.
