To Do…!

I struggle not to worry but face,

Strange thoughts that cross my mind,

Driving me crazy, jostling me like a leaf in highland wind,

Oh! I wish to do away with it right now!

To weep to my heart’s content, over the abundance in my life with gratitude,

Down to earth in humility, like the fruit laden branch,

Only to breathe in love and breathe out gratefulness,

Oh! I wish to do it right now!

I attempt to smile and keep cool at all times,

Out of the blue an irritation stings, like the buzzing bee,

Dismissing the peace within…despite it be composed,

Oh! I wish to do it right now!

I endeavour to live the present graciously,

Over years,I always looked forward to future, yearning for the stars,

Failing to enjoy the meadows …Never take for granted,

Oh! I wish to do it right now!

To push away engulfing thoughts astray!

To breathe in gratitude!

To be unruffled and poised!

To enjoy the present…My To do list continues…!
