Three Magical Words

Those three magical words,

" I LOVE YOU " 

Love birds, a couple in relation,

wanted to hear from each other.

Which youngsters say with ease,

But these more grown-up can't,

As for them, they are not just words.

Every day they met but waited 

Another person to express first,

and parted without saying it.

Again when they met next,

Their eyes expressed when met,

But those three words remained unsaid.

Each one decided to utter those words,

Surely and convincingly very soon 

Promised each other for a meeting soon.

That day he waited eagerly for her,

 she didn't come, but a message,

" not well today, with apologies ".

 

They missed each other so much,

he was worried about her so much.

Next meeting she played a trick,

She called him from some distance,

and told they would never meet,

As marriage getting fixed soon,

And he shouted , ' I love you damn it!'

She got those three Magical words,

He turned to his back now,

Saw her standing in front of him,

They both had tears in their eyes.

Tears of happiness and joys,

As finally their feelings were expressed,

That too from their hearts. 

Those three Magical words,

" I LOVE YOU . "
