This too shall pass
This too shall pass
This little girl
Peeped out through the glasses
Her emotions in a whirl
Packed in walls and terraces.
"Mom, why is it
Do we have to stay? "
Said she,
With her wink at bay,
Mother unsteady looked
Her glance nooked
Starting with haste though
Her words in grief bow
"A pandemic it is,
With no escape a viz,"
Her eyes numbing
To weeps succumbing;
Another question asked her,
" Dad, where is he?
His face seems to abate
My consciousness grate,"
Mother tarnished by her words
Praying to thy lords
Answered with eyes were swollen
"Your father is at the front foot
Working for the virus to shoot
He would soon be back
Saving lives in a stack,"
Continued did she
"Each of the people
Have a role in ample
Indoors, other lives are their liability
Outside their own lives
Is at risks' ability."
We need to stay strong
And endow the twigs of this nest
Also To the throng,
We must paint life's this canvas
Because I know, this too shall pass."
Her eyes minting tears of sorrow
Expecting it with a tinge of glee tomorrow.
