The Unfulfilled Wish
The Unfulfilled Wish
By pure heart, he does not know you
Though your tales echoes silently
Among the arms you once held dear
Five days to a quarter of his life
Breath silently vanished from you
No sting or burn he felt then
For he never really knew you
Though he silently looked at you
And knew you were gone.
Should he cry? He asked himself
For Death should his might to him
For the first time ever.
And silently, of unknown confus
ion
He silently shed a tear
Not for you but for the other's cries
Had pierced his heart
All the while, he held your mother's hand.
With silence and Innocence attempts to console her.
But in depth, he knew he needed an arm the most.
Now, another quarter to his life,
Blank he stood at night
Looking up at the stars
And silently whispering a wish
But a wish is just a wish
That you'd be alive just five more days
