The Sun

The Sun

I look at the sun

Its light blinds me

I close my eyes

Its warmth comforts me

Surrounding me nature rejoices

Sun you are so harsh

But yet so kind

You sustain life

In one breath what was

Is no more

Sun your light gives hope

I close my eyes the darkness is here

I have hope when dawn

Arrives I'll lookup

And there you the sun will be

So marvellous sustaining me
