The Stipulated Paramount
The Stipulated Paramount
Crowds, sounds, loneliness still hounds,
Over conversation rounds...
Let's stroll through little paper towns,
Rewind our memories- let them bounce...
Vibrant city life yet muted sounds
We could make it beyond these bounds-
The stipulated paramount.
Recall those days when in doubt
How on trifle matters, we used to shout aloud.
We fought- such an innocent fallout.
We surfed through crests of love
And troughs of chance
We were novices, perchance.
Now that all these years passed by,
I realised, all along I was your stand-by.
I sealed those wounds and promised never to cry
All that I did to myself was lie.
When there were none, it was just me
Suddenly the solitude turned me lonely.
Now when people talk around,
I disappear, nowhere to be found.
Crowds, sounds, loneliness still hounds,
Over conversation rounds...
Let's stroll through little paper towns,
Rewind our memories- let them bounce...
