Crackling sound of laughter,

Creates a loving atmosphere,

Diwali brings all the loved ones together,

As we all celebrate and create happy memories every year,

The inner child comes alive ,

As we all play pranks on each other,

The children and grown-ups,

Eat sweets and enjoy together,

Diwali is the time,

When all the old memories are remembered,

We all exchange our painful memories

With happy and joyful endeavours,

Diwali celebrates the feelings of sharing,

When we share gifts of love with people who are sad and needy, our happiness becomes double,

 We often become isolated in life,

As we try to be the winner,

We break all the boundaries,

As we embrace selflessness over selfish nature,

Diwali is the festival of lights of goodness,

It brings out the spirit of universal love out of every living creature.
