THE SIBLING BOND
THE SIBLING BOND
Oh brother! I miss having you here so much,
So much has changed since you left for abroad.
I miss our fights and the making up over with hugs,
the special camaraderie and the feeling that you've always got my back..
I miss tying rakhi on you every rakshabandhan,
after waiting eagerly for you to return from the temple.
.Facetiming you just doesnt have that same thrill,
as when you would flaunt my rakhi on your wrist.
I even miss the times you used to tear my books,
And threaten any boy who dared to look.
The times you would gossip to mom about me,
And land me in a hot soup with the family.
I wish you could live nearby me again in India,
So we could celebrate and cherish all the moments together.
So our children also grow up fighting and loving each other,
And not be complete strangers in the future.
