The Shadows
The Shadows
Dear Stars,
Moments of displeasure
keep on consuming me
Sirens of sensitive weather
keep knocking desperately
The night seems to howl
do you? are you noticing?
There are whispers all around
which go on ceaselessly
Discomfort breathes on my bones
aches anonymously my heart
For everything I own
seems to fall apart
What is it that is happening?
What is going wrong?
For the moments passing me
all I hear is the goodnight song
The whispers follow me along the way
For whom is this all being done?
under your shadow, they say
"Who were you and what have you become?"
I run away in fright
don't know where am I headed
Wherever I see it is bright
and the darkness has faded
Can't seem to control my own wings
Can't seem to have thoughts
Only one that in the chaos of all these things
myself where have I brought?
Do you hear my screams dear stars?
for would not know anybody else
That over the distance so very far
a woman's soul has lost herself
Lost her body to the mystery
counting all the possiblities
Of which place it is to be
I close my eyes and sleep
Good night.
