The Sea Is Sequestered Tonight

The world is open to you, and its openness is farthest over the seas, rivers, and phosphorescent mountains. And the wheel is turning like the barrow in the chamber of effervescent oceans. 

The sea is near you, a flower blooming in the white hills, and the sea is sequestered tonight, 

How shall I traverse the fathomless oceans in exultation and without blues? Not alone! Not the bruises, not the splotches of coagulated colors, I shall meet you in the golden fields 

No longer those amiable times of sweetening pain which I spent with you, perennial flower, and no longer those dark, dismal, dripping nights of sadness, excruciation, and longing, and how shall I leave you in this harrowing pain, when the world is about to sleep...

Endless splinters of silver-colored time, dispersed and dissipated with you in these hills, valleys, and snow-mottled forests, and incessant rivers are still flowing from your golden pearls, and how shall I endure this long-lasting separation from you

I shall not leave you till the last day, I cast off my tattered clothes, but our love shall remain,

Nor is it a desire I have for you, but a love filled with total attention, without possession and surfeit, yet I cannot wait for you longer, but I shall meet you beyond the russet horizon  

I cannot endure this corroding pain,
