Covered in the dust of loneliness

She swept herself above the ground,

Beneath her were those shattered glasses which once saw her smiling features,

Walking down the aisle in a red netted flowery dress,

Her long brown lashes hiding her moist and gloomy eyes,

She mustered the courage and moved ahead, only to be greeted by a hand on her waist,

Shivering and again looking down she moved towards the man in black.

The one with an evil glint in his orbs,

Destiny always played hard but this moment the price was her little heart,

Crushed, broken, and ripped...

She couldn't handle the erupt beating of the little pumping machine.

Just a moment ago she was crying over her faded destiny,

Now she has to smile over the long lasting agony,

Pain, helplessness, was seen all over her face,

But this life was nothing but a game of her smile and pain

Pain was winning with the score all to zero,

Smile had no reason to win over this sorrow,

Was it her fault to be born as a girl?

Was it her fault to be treated as dirt and worm?

Marrying her at a small age, just to get rid of her bad faith.

Is this the way a women should be treated?

To get rid of her bad omen,

She was getting thrown in hell with the name "heaven"

Why marring a girl child is still practiced?

Why girls are still not eligible to take their life's decision?

A girl of such a small age, will soon meet the harsh realities...

The world is nothing but just the four walls of her room,

She was not asked whether she wanted to get married,

She wasn't even asked if she wanted to continue her studies,

She was just thrown away like a used wrapper.

Why do girls still face all the humiliation, pain, agony?

She is just a toy to the world,

Used and then thrown.

Girls deserve respect,

The right to live,

To see the world as they want to see,

Because,

They deserve everything.
