The Radiant Pearl
The Radiant Pearl
Deep there inside, it rests
Latent from the callous world,
The rage rising from within
Why always the patsy is that innocent girl?
The dew of laughter is drying the grass instead,
As the damsel waits in her bed with dread.
The sky getting dimmer day by day,
Her voice not heard and justice betrays.
Can’t step out alone
The stalker is outside
Looking for that hour
To seek his pride.
The stereotypical words too
Are passed on her
She’s showered with curses,
So that she surrenders.
But her mind is firm
Her heart passionate and intense
She rises from the blues
And breaks the fence
With kindled hope
She stands anew
To condemn her sinners
And bid, grief, adieu.
She sits right here
Moved on in life
Afflating others,
With her attitude so ripe.
Often wonders in silence,
And speaks to the world,
She is not any object or a playful thing,
But a bold and zealous human being
Take care of this gift of God,
The charming and the loving girl,
Respect and bless her with true belief,
As she is our Radiant Pearl…
