The Grime

Here we try to clean after long,

Get to work and sing along.

          Onto the bed to fold the sheets,

          Straight the pillows and place then neat.

Open the curtains and dust the windows,

Everything clean just a dark part shadow.

           Take a ladder, climb up the wall;

           Go higher, if you think you are small.

Take the broom and tidy the fan,

It should shine if it can.

           Break the corner webs,

           Treat as if it is spring in the Feb.

Pick up the toys on the floor,

You may get ideas for the décor.

            It would look good for sure

            If it lasts for long.

Hold the bunch of books,

Keep them in the shelves, as it looks.

            Hook up the messy clothes in the closet.

            Throw the useless and take some rest.
