The Dreams Of Dawn
The Dreams Of Dawn
The Sun, the giver of life, the ball of fire,
Awakens the world from a deep slumber,
Every morn, breaking the dreams of desire,
Every dawn, rousing man to the silhouette of his fantasies.
To achieve enlightenment starry-hazed,
To swing the axe on the wood of your goals,
With open eyes only can dreams be chased,
Out of sleep can only be wishes fulfilled.
Dreams are dreams only when
They make you an ill-faced insomniac,
By killing their snooze can only men,
Assure themselves of a quenched heart.
So rise, my friend,
Coz time is never on your side,
Only one life you get, in the end,
Falling short, relinquishing the Dreams of Dawn.
