The CoronaVirus Poem

The critical situation lies all around, as the Coronavirus spreads unbound.                                                                         

The outbreak has led amongst us an endless trepidation,                                                                                         

Rushing us into our homes in a fear of affliction.                                                                                         

Obligations have been given up; with the infections outnumbering each day,                                                                    

The nation too struggles to confront this state of dismay.                                                                                       

Amidst us, the doctors and police work restlessly,                                                                                        

Valiantly safeguarding everyone in the country.                                                                                          

Intuitively the public servants and health warriors join the fray,                                                                              

Relentlessly sacrificing their comforts night and day.                                                                                       

Upcoming days would end despair and light our faces with glee,                                                                                 

Seeing recovery due to our tolerance; heralding our victory.
