THE COLD BLUE WATER

The cold blue water is

The place where my sorrows I hide,

Kneeling down and sitting by its side.

It makes me feel cool, calm

And compose,

And it smells as sweet as a rose.

It depicts hope and peace,

And tells us not to

Surrender by anybody's tease.

It never gets agitated and

Keeps itself calm,

I feel like putting my hand

Inside and touching it with my palm.

It remains still and

Refreshes my mind,

And good memories it binds.

It enforces me to see,

Only the good things

Happening around me.

I wish that I could spend my

Whole life near it,

And improve me a bit by bit.
