The Child Of God

Walking alone in the dark night, 

I have lost my way, 

Oh Lord, when you see the plight of your child, 

Won't you just guide me today? 

 I am sailing through the stormy sea, 

I have lost the sight of the shore, 

Each wave is bigger than the previous one

 Oh Lord, Will I even make it to dawn? 

Hold onto me God, when I am falling, 

I know I have your cover, 

Help me thee when I am sinking, 

 For You have always been my shelter 

Help me to love myself a bit more, 

Help me to cut out the negative roars, 

Let me just find peace within

And I know then the world will be a magical place to live in.
