The Broken Glass Window

The Broken Glass Window

1 min 697 1 min 697

It was Shravana,

Nature is dancing with rhythm,

She is watching devotees going to temples saying

Har Har Mahadev,

She is waiting,

It was Bhadrapada,

Nature is welcoming new flora and fauna,

She is watching devotees dancing saying

Bappa Morya Re Bappa Morya re,

She is waiting,

It was Aasweeyuja,

Nature giving cold breeze,

She is watching devotees chanting Jai Mata Di,

She is waiting,

It was Kartika,

Nature filled with darkness,

She is watching devotees lighting lamps with ghee and sesame oil,

She still waits for his return,

Her eyes were wet continuously,

It was Kartika Purnima,

He came after fighting in the war,

Her eyes didn't believe he came,

He made 365 wicks and they went to Shiva's temple,

They both lit lamps and prayed,

He promised to stay with her forever,

He fixed the broken glass,

All interior renovated,

She is in her arms,

His breath is warm and teasing her,

Her eyes were filled with happiness,

She never needs to wait and watch through the broken glass window.
