The Bird Samaritan

Saddened by the plight,

Of one to be in flight,

A bird entangled in a string,

Hanging from a tree; bring,

A good Samaritan thorough,

A gal brave climbed the bough,

Brought the bird to a down spot,

Freed its legs from the knot,

Made the heart feel blithe,

The gallant gal lithe.
