The Beginning Of Our End

I saw us breaking slowly.

I saw us fading away.

I saw us tearing apart. 

Our conversations became shorter.

We ran out of topics.

Replies came slower.

The spark between us died.

We started boring each other.

We stopped being enough for each other.

We started dying..

I knew it was the beginning of the end.

I saw it die in front of my eyes.

Yet I did nothing to ease the pain, the terrible burning sensation.

Instead, I fuelled the fire.

I started texting more,

To see how far you've gone.

To see how indifferent you've become

To see how we died.

To see how much you started regretting it.

To see how your love for me slowly changed into hate.

To see how I became irritating for you.

To see how your actions prove that I was a mistake and a dumb choice.

I witnessed how it was ruined.

And I was addicted to the pain.

No matter how much you hurt me or push me away.

I'll keep coming back to make you hate me even more 

Cuz in these three years you've become my drug, my bad habit.

And I'm gonna watch you destroy us and me.

Leaving no trace behind, nothing.

Because this pain is what I need, what I crave. 

The constant reminder of how I ruined it and how I wasn't enough.

My love you'll be there in each and every one of my nightmares

Until I can no longer dream.
