The Amity On Trust...

Two chums in a woodland,

Lived with each other in the same land.

One of them was a cheetah,

While the other a dog, his favorite.

In the same land, lived a monkey, envious,

Not wanting to mate the two companions.

Being covetous of the two amigos,

He wanted them to have a quarrel close.

He told the cheetah, the dog called you, a tongue-tied,

Go fast and have a fight!

Having faith in his chum,

He ignored the monkey, with a hum.

Anon, the monkey told the dog,

The cheetah called you, a fraud.

Go fast and get him caught!

Having belief in his chum,

Even the dog ignored the monkey, with a hum.

One fine day, the monkey asked one, and the other,

What is it that makes your amity stronger?

They said it was the trust,

That their friendship couldn't be crushed !!!
