It was an international poetry blog,

Where artist made their log,

He was crawling with words

With a history of being a nerd.

It was heart, an American artist

Seeded the artist in him as harvest.

Then Akira a monk, with the writing as a hobby

Gave comments which were squabby.

The founder of the site, a lecturer and artist by profession

Powered the ordinary to extraordinary with her persist impression.

Then Emily, the Australian Dark Angel

Feeds on art and sketches by being faithful.

Then John an Irish young man with an Alzheimer wife,

Penning his thoughts to the world about his life.

We never met in person,

But they celebrated when his poetry won in an international forum.

They were friends across boundaries, culture and ages,

Still strong enough though they were a quorum.

They may be offline,

But his skill has their sign.
