Sweet Farewell

He was not mine, but his twinkling eyes 

Made me fall in love with him..

He came into my life but left so soon..

Who cares, I'll still love him like I love the moon!

He looked at me, he was confused..

He was the only one that made my heart sooth..

I held him, I couldn't resist..

After all, he was not meant to go unkissed!

He looked at me yet again, as I looked back at his charming face..

Even if it was for a brief moment, our love was so pure just by the way we glance..

And then I knew I should let him go..

For he was not mine to throw up a show..

So I decided to let him go,

I take his little paw and kiss him goodbye..

He looks at me and just as he leaves,

He licks my cheek as if to say, in me he believes!
