Summer

Summer, summer.

The favorite season of all.

The days filled with happiness and joy,

With also a lot of sleepiness.

 

Lazing on the beach,

Going in the cool water.

Or maybe having a picnic,

With a sandwich or two.

 

Going in the pool,

Which gives us a lot of cool.

Having ice cream is the best,

As it melts in our mouth.

 

Enjoying these long days,

With friends and family.

These summer days are always bright,

Which gives us a lot of delight.

 

Life is carefree when summer’s around.

No studies or school,

Just fun all day long.

 

There’s no time for sadness in summer.

As there’s always so many bright colors.
