Strangers To Familiars
Strangers To Familiars
We’re Strangers to everyone,
Yet Familiar to someone,
Building bricks around our hearts,
Shielding it from falling apart - again.
Fearing to take the leap of faith,
We hold our breath,
And just keep holding in,
Hoping to find eternity.
To trust someone new,
To share grief with the unknown,
To cry without fearing judgement,
And break the walls brick by brick,
And feel safe even then.
