Something Else Than Pain

The land which I once called mine
Has changed its smooth over time,
The land which once had disposable love
Is now the land that tortures the soul.
The land that once gave every thing
Is now the land that pierces the flesh,
Where once there was good out of nothing
Is now where I need a bless.
Out of all the misery and pain
Death seems to be the only path
Out of all the tears seems no gain
And unbearable wrath.
Though I know that one fine day
All pain will fade away like dust,
One day I will realize for sure
That out of all the hail and strain,
The land I once called mine
Can offer something else than pain.
