Solace

Rain falls and slowly the moon fades,

Morning sets in but I did not see when the day pass.

Constantly I gaze at the watch and think I am on time

But, it is the time that has burdened me.

I watch the people that will never be mine and those who were mine before,

 I've lost them all.

I get up every day realizing that they are the price I have paid to gain a name

And yet I struggle and strive.

Neither the moon is mine, nor the time

Still, I believe that one day I might stumble on life.

It may be in a person or in a formless art,

that in it I may find some solace that I so dearly yearn for.
