With the bang of rooster she gets up,

Before the first ray of sun everything she sets up.

She works like an automated machine,

All what she knows is ‘work, wash, cook and clean’.

She will cook and serve you the food,

She will wash your clothes and ready your hood.

Your tiffin she packs,

On the right place she keeps your bags & sacks.

The torn cloths she sews,

Everything asked for lovingly she shares and gives.

The broken things she mends,

For every work without any complain she bends.

When someone’s ill,

She carries their syrup, tab & pill.

But when she’s sick,

Everyone’s undesirably meek.

Her husband yells out her name,

For unnecessary things her he’ll blame.

Her in-laws will call her small things,

And she’ll rush swiftly as if flying with wings.

She smiles her kid,

Who barks in response of her to get rid.

She may be full of glooms,

But she fakes smiles like a flower blooms.

Even if it’s late dark night,

She won’t sleep unless she checks if everything’s all right.
