Shapes And Structures

Shapes And Structures

The sound, rhythm, meaning

Of any piece of poetry or prose

Does not touch me.

I am struck with the shapes of the alphabets

It may be circle, triangle, half-circle

And many other innumerable shapes.

I grasp, grasp and grasp

Staring at the yonder riverside

Where the structures of the Goddess

Dutga and other idols

After immersion are heaped up.
