Self-Awakening

Self-Awakening

You don't need to grow a Bodhi tree

To be awakened to the renewing light.

You have much in you for enlightenment.

It's not the world that belittles you,

It's you who undervalues your strengths.

To be triumphant, the key is knowing oneself.

Never count the losers out there.

Let even the smallest fights of the victors

For an uncertain justice spur your thoughts.

None can beat you unless you give in.

Without self-esteem, none has achieved,

And you gain only if you leave empty.
