Sitting along the riverside,

I thought of the memories inside.

My childhood so carefree and joyous,

It was like a short and happy voyage.

My school days filled with stories,

I had friends from all categories.

All were so true and sincere,

They helped a lot in my future career.

Those teachers whom I admire,

Supported to choose what I aspire to.

Light punishments which I enjoyed,

Unexpected rewards made me annoyed.

Swings and merry go rounds so thrilling,

Sea- saw and swings were interesting.

Big playground gave us many opportunities,

Many became sportsmen with dignity.

Those funny pranks in the classroom,

How can I forget those moments?

Those lunch boxes with delicious snacks,

Was distributed among all in the class.

Everything was so nice and interesting,

Everything passed so fast which kept me thinking.

Only fond memories are now I rewind,

Would love to share whenever I get time.
