RIVERS DAY- 'Rally For Rivers'

River is a natural body of freshwater,

It is rich with minerals.

She is the valley's daughter,

And an elixir for plants and animals.

It fulfills all of our needs,

But we never show gratitude.

We increase our greeds,

She wanders everywhere in solitude!

Whether perennial or rain-fed,

She sets out for seas or oceans.

Let the rivers be clean and uncontaminated,

Let's rally for our rivers if we still have emotions!

Let's save India's lifeline,

Let's make everyone aware.

The rivers should flow freely and shine,

We must take its utmost care!
