The hearts swelled with pride. The cheers knew no bound

1950 was the year when our Republic Day was announced

We Indians are very proud to celebrate Republic day

Protected by soldiers in the border who never sway

Today we will host the tricolor

Orange, white and green

Today my excitement is extreme

Representatives coming in plenty

From the Army, Air Force, and Navy

Today let us thank everyone,

Because of whom many things are won.
