Rendezvous With Life
Rendezvous With Life

Yesterday I saw life
Behind my window lurking
Though there were cobwebs around
As I had not been so working.
But I recognised her after a while
I asked her to step in
But she looked so stressed
The frown on her face
Made me feel pity on the poor self.
She was reluctant
But I insisted her to perk
She had some scars
Which spoke of her jerk.
I gave a friendly touch
To the shivering feeble
I nursed her like a baby
And she smiled and giggled.
Once i comforted her
We started opening up
I asked her how she had ended up there
She gazed at me with most soothing looks
The warmth of her doting eyes touched me from inside.
I demanded of her to be my guest for the night
I cupped her face and informed that there was a
treacherous weather outside.
I then asked her where she lived
Had she been homeless or been deceived
She said she was given my address by an angel
She said that she had been seeking my proposal.
I wondered for a while
How she sounded so familiar
She knew all about me
Though I had also heard about her but never expected she would run into me
.
She showed me some pictures which shook my conscience
I had blown away them from the book in my hand
I then understood what had caused my vengeance.
Then she revealed
What lied beneath
It was my own life which I was not happy with.
From that moment onwards
We made peace with each other
I affirmed my loyalty and admitted my mistakes
We are now friends
Come what may
We are now friends come what may.
