 rain   anger   agony 

The pitter-patter of the rain

Synchronizes with my heartbeat


The drizzling raindrops

Veils my bizarreness 


The dew drops falling off the leaves

Obscure my tears.


O' there the hovering clouds, cascading their hearts out

Give me an eerie reminiscence of my past

 

The lightning streaks and thunder volleys

 Provoke poignant echoes in my heart


Teetering between tears and anger

I lingered in my sorrow


Withered, but valiant enough

Now I stand, completely drenched in rain

Longing for sunshine to kiss away my agony.
