Dear stars,

How far can you see?

Since you're so high up there

Can you look directly at me?

All day just look and stare

For I feel I cannot perceive

My vision is so limited

Of the world beyond me

Of beyond what is heard and said

My mother tells me naive you are

That you don't understand some things

Help me here dear stars

Take me up near you give me wings

I want to see the world too

Look at the far stretches of land

See how's everyone doing just like you

And tell my mom that I can

Be my reflection, be my eyes

I'm still a child hence

Hold my hand teach me to be wise

And to learn gratitude and reverence.
