Rainbow

When it rains, arrows of water give a spectacular show,

The bow who shoots them is called the rainbow.

All the seven colors are like different relations of life,

Brother, sister, mother, father, aunt, uncle and husband or wife.

Science students say it’s just magic of light,

If all the colors converge, they will make pure white.

I once tried with a prism and sunlight,

And yes, I found they are all very right.

Drops of water just act like a prism,

Sun rays get dispersed and look colored to your vision.

As a child, wished to sleep on this colorful bed,

Enjoying all colors violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red.
