Quarantined (Day Thirteen)
Quarantined (Day Thirteen)
Persistence in the face of growing odds
We stand alone and fear means nothing
solutions vanish with the passage of time;
Does nature lock a future we do not know.
There are options we discard and ignore
From generation creating distinct barriers
Assume a clear blue skies over our head;
lockdowns we could never have imagined.
Can we sustain our economic prosperity?
turning Nature against our endeavours;
In a state of limited resources, our greed
Lights a spark mankind will regret forever!
Viruses are a start, will unleash mutants;
Can we survive their altered state of RNA?
