PROVOKING PEN

When I was sad and distressed,

You helped me to pen down,

all my feelings in words,

When I was lost, you helped

me to regain my thoughts,

 brought me back to reality

When I wrote my examination,

You inked all the answers,

and gave me good scores

When I missed my dear love,

You wrote letter to my love,

And made us merry and glad

When I prepared for competition

You succored me to win

and I got the trophy

You accompanied me everywhere

You are so kind and merciful

You are so lovely and tidy

You increased my knowledge

You improved my learning skills

You accelerated my writing skills

Now I'm a good writer, 'cause

of you, my dear provoking pen

Thank you so much for being

A part in my life, I know

You won't leave me and will

definitely tighten the grip

of my fingers and pursue to ink.

With you, I'm going to

achieve a lot and lot,

I know you are so delighted now,

So, why we're waiting,
