The School Bus

"Honk, Honk" the school bus arrived,

I was so happy to hear the sound,

I got in and sat near the window side,

I smiled at my dear friends,

"Hi", they all greeted with glee

We chatted merrily, "Ha ha ha",

We made fun of each other,

Played rock, paper, and scissors,

We said jokes and laughed,

We shared snacks in the school bus,

I don't know how the time goes

When I travel by school bus

The sweet memories of school bus

Remain in my heart and mind, Now

I'm matured and working in an office

Whenever I hear the 'honk' sound

Or see a school bus on the road,

The joyful memories linger in me.
