POEM: Moments Of Peace
POEM: Moments Of Peace
Moments of Peace
Looked around and found chaos,
Looked within and found distress,
Where will I find PEACE?
At home, at the workplace,
Where can I find some solace?
Deadlines and Meetings,
Take away moments of greetings.
Side talks, unnecessary buzz,
challenges, retaliation, incompetence around...
Suck energy and make me fall to the ground.
Maintaining score,
Not asking for more.
Looking for some moments of peace,
Around, within or wherever I can find a lease.
Life is not too long,
Even though I'm not that strong,
Let me breathe,
Before I put a wreath.
Make me free,
So that I go on a spree.
Walks and Talks,
With loved ones.
Outing and Doubting,
With cheered ones.
Create some moments of peace,
Before we get at ease.
Remember me at all times,
Good or Bad- time flies.
I'll pray for you,
Bless all, may curse a few.
Was looking for a few Peaceful moments,
Created a few but craved for a few with lesser torments.
Finally, I've arrived at a much more peaceful place,
Where there's PEACE but no RACE.
